Brenda is a graduate of Quinnipiac University, where she has trained and received a B.S. in Physical Therapy. She began her career as a staff Physical Therapist at Hackensack University Medical Center. While there, she gained extremely valuable clinical experience and became skilled in various disciplines and specialty areas. After leaving her full time position at HUMC, Brenda remained on their staff for many years while she expanded her experience working in outpatient facilities, physician practices, sub acute facilities, acute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities. Brenda also worked as a case manager for physical therapy benefits. In that capacity she acted as an advocate for physical therapists and their patients, working through the bureaucratic hoops of health insurance to ensure that patients received the care they needed. While her experience is very diverse, she has focused on orthopedic rehab and has worked closely with orthopedists since she began her career. Brenda continues to enhance her knowledge in all areas of physical therapy through continuing education courses and real-life experiences. She delivers a unique perspective with cutting edge skills to heal all parts of the body.
Brenda also enjoys volunteering her services outside of work and has donated time to many charitable causes including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer walk. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors; hiking, biking, running, and being on or near the water, as well as spending time with her two beautiful and entertaining nieces.
